Cape Hillsborough Nature Tourist Park, Central QLD Coast

AS Design were commissioned in 2023 to provide a Masterplan for the upgrade of the iconic Nature Tourist Park which is the only destination in the world that provides opportunities to see and feed kangaroos and wallabies on the beach at sunrise and renowned for its naturally diverse bush trails. The masterplan laid the platform for the documentation for Stage 1 which incorporated a complete transformation of the overall entry, upgrades to powered caravan sites, modified layout to expanded pool area, a developed design of the foreshore precinct roads, paths and layout to provide optimal use of space and opportunities and a new viewing platform set over the dune.
