This $25 million project transformed Cairns into a world class tourist destination. Andrae played a major role in the winning of a National Design Competition and International Eastern Region Presidents Award. The project activated Cairns waterfront via an artificial lagoon with pedestrian boulevards linking the nearby dining precinct and children’s playground whilst minimising impact to an adjacent internationally recognised marine eco park.
